The 25-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Spanish side.
He told Sky Sports: “Liverpool was a good experience for me but I never had a chance to show what I am capable of.
“If I had been given a chance, I could have shown my qualities but this is the life of a footballer.
“I am happy because Liverpool is a great club, I have a massive respect for the club and I was happy to be part of it.
“But I am a Levante player now, I’m 25-years-old and it’s time for me to show what I am capable of.
“I am looking forward to the Spanish season as I believe the style there will suit my type of football.”
