Ballack admits that it will be an emotional return for him.
“I had many, many very emotional days when being a player of Chelsea FC,” Ballack told Bild.
“Some experiences went not so good. Especially in the UEFA Champions League.
“It was a tough campaign to reach the UEFA Champions League final with Chelsea FC then.
“I never really had the chance to say goodbye to the supporters of Chelsea FC. Playing from the start at Stamford Bridge would perhaps be a good opportunity to get in touch with the people there.”
