Gameiro struck 22 times for Lorient last season but has made a slow start to life in the French capital.
“I’m not a guy who thinks too much”, said Gameiro.
“My job is to be realistic in front of goal.
“I have many goals, and I hope to do better than last year.
“To finish as top scorer would be fabulous. It’s one my goals, but I will not be selfish.
“If someone is better placed to score than me then I’ll pass the ball.”
