The Portuguese winger believes Real’s spending means they have to win a title or Champions League soon.
“People ask when will Real Madrid win the tenth [Champions League] and win the championship.
“A club like Real Madrid cannot go for too long without winning something important like the Champions League or the Spanish league.
“I am confident that this year things will change. We’re on track. We’ve started well. Now we’ll see what the future holds.”
