The 19-year-old started the Carling Cup victory over rivals Leeds United at Elland Road last night.
The youngster admits he is now hoping for more chances to feature for United’s first team.
Fryers told MUTV: “It was really good to come up to the first team, it was a massive experience and it was great to play against Leeds at Elland Road.
“It was a massive night for me. It was quality and a massive step up, so I was happy to get 80 minutes in.
“I had to come off with a bit of cramp so now it’s all about working hard with the Reserves and getting fitter so that I’m ready for whenever these chances might come again.”
