Welbeck scored two goals in the Champions League clash with Basle in midweek, but may find himself on the United bench against Norwich tomorrow.
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that both Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney are ready to return to action.
Welbeck said: “I hope I have done enough to play against Norwich. We have some great strikers at the club and whoever is in there will give it 100%. I just hope I get my chances.”
