The Manchester United forward has been pivotal for England in recent times but Fabio Capello hinted after they qualified for Euro 2012 that the players shouldn’t take his starting place for granted.
“I have got a lot of forwards at this moment, really good forwards,” Capello said. “In my life as a manager I have put on the bench a lot of players.”
