The 23-year-old is set to undergo surgery on his knee in Brazil, by the national team doctor Jose Luiz Runco.
“We are actually struggling with injuries,” Dutt told Bild. “Renato Augusto was one of the players who have been hit lately.
“As far as I am concerned, he will not be back in action before the New Year and I am fully appreciative he is keen to have his surgery done in Brazil.
“Renato will stay on there for two more weeks to wait on the progress of the surgery. Afterwards, he will be back at our club to undergo rehab training.”
