Pereira was strongly linked with a move to link up with former boss Andre Villa-Boas at Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Porto were reportedly not prepared to sell the 25-year-old for less than his £26million release clause.
Pereira told Portuguese newspaper Record: “I am very comfortable and happy to remain in Porto.
“For me I have to give Chelsea big praise for attempting to sign me during the summer and I have to say that I wasn’t frustrated that the deal didn’t go through.
“Now, it’s an extra incentive for me to do well and I will give my maximum effort to Porto day in and day out with the hope of winning many more titles.”
