The 22-year-old has two years left on his current contract with Celtic, but is interested in talking about a new deal in the summer.
“I have two years left so I don’t have to be in a hurry,” he is quoted in the Sunday Mail.
“Maybe at the end of the season we can talk about a new contract. They haven’t spoken to me yet but it would appeal to me.
“I’m young and I’m very happy with (the) players and the manager. I’m very pleased with this club.
“But I just want to help the team win the league first. That’s my target for this season.”
