Silva joined City in a £26million deal from Valencia in the summer of 2010.
The 25-year-old has impressed this season and reports in recent weeks have suggested that Real Madrid and Barcelona will want to sign him.
But the winger has ruled out the possibility of returning to Spain.
Silva is quoted as saying in The Sun: “City believed in me and I’m very well here.
“Real Madrid and Barcelona are definitely two great clubs, but I hope to stay in Manchester for many years.”
