Man City to offer Mancini new mega deal

The Sun reports that City are ready to hand Mancini a new £22million four-year contract.

The new deal will see Mancini’s salary increase from £3.5million-a-year to £5.5million-a-year and put him alongside Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson as the joint highest-paid boss in the league.

Mancini signed a 3½-year contract when he took over as manager at Eastlands in December 2009, but the club’s owner Sheikh Mansour and chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak have been impressed by the Italian’s performance at the club.

Mancini has been linked with a move back to Italy, with the likes of Juventus interested in the former Inter Milan boss.
