Eto’o insists he is happy with life a the Russian club.
“A lot of people criticized me when I opted to leave Italy for Russia. However, I’m convinced that I made the right decision to leave Inter,” Eto’o said in an interview with Canal Plus.
“I am feeling very well in Russia and don’t have the intention to return to west Europe.”
The highly-rated striker’s contract with Anzhi is set to expire in the summer of 2014, but he has recently been linked with a move to French giants Paris St Germain.
“Paris Saint-Germain? We will see what happens if the opportunity comes up. However, I am very happy with life here for now,” said Eto’o.
