The 26-year-old has impressed for Posh this season, starting all 15 league games for the club.
Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson told the club’s official website: “It is great news because Lee has performed extremely well for us this season.
“He was on the transfer list in the summer, he was very open about his feelings in pre-season and we gave him a clean sheet and he has done the business.”
