The Senegal star has been linked with the likes of Tottenham, Sunderland, Fulham, Blackburn and Newcastle after impressing for Freiburg.
Cisse has scored seven goals in 11 starts for Freiburg this season.
“Papiss Demba Cisse is a key player of our club. He is staying firm on his wish to move to a bigger club. This is his desire,” Dufner told kicker-Sportmagazin.
“The ideal for us is that he is seeing out the current campaign with our club. At this moment we have not been received any offers.”
