The Sun reports that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen to bring in the France Under-21 midfielder in January.
Wenger has been priced out of a move for £25million-rated Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila, according to reports.
Capoue is currently out for a month with a head injury.
