Van Buyten has been linked with a possible return to former club Marseille.
“I am a player of Bayern Munich at this point in time. I have a contract with the club,” Van Buyten told French-based radio station Radio RCM.
“Still, no-one knows what will happen in this game. You should never say never.
“Bayern definitely want to keep me here, though, and I am happy I have stayed on.”
