The 31-year-old, who has 18 months left on his contract at Peterborough, has recently been strongly linked with a move to Southampton.
He told the club’s official website: “Rumours start all the time and I don’t know where they come from. I think when you are a footballer you take it with a pinch of salt.
“It is always nice to be talked about by other clubs but I am happy where I am. I have just bought a new house and my little boy is going to school, so there is no reason for me to be going anywhere.
“I am loving my football here. I would like to end my career at Peterborough but it is not really in my hands – it is down to whoever sorts the contracts out at the club.”
