Bakkal joined Feyenoord on a season-long loan deal from PSV Eindhoven in August.
Van Geel told Voetbal International: “He is interesting to many clubs, but also to us. I feel that in Otman’s mind, he now lives in Rotterdam.
“In January we will open talks, but it is clear that we think Bakkal is a player who fits well with Feyenoord.”
