TalkSport reports that both clubs have been impressed with the Argentinean midfielder this season.
Faurlin joined Queens Park Rangers from Instituto in 2009.
The 25-year-old has impressed in the Premier League this season and it is believed Rangers want at least £11million for the midfielder.
