Anton Ferdinand, Nigel Reo-Coker, Dean Ashton and Carlos Tevez are set to leave the club if they go down.
Roy Carroll and Lee Bowyer will have their contracts terminated should the Hammers go down, while veteran striker Teddy Sheringham’s contract expires at the end of the season.
Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing striker Marlon Harewood, while Paul Konchesky and Matthew Etherington are being chased by Manchester City.
It is also believed new signings Matthew Upson, Luis Boa Morte and Lucas Neill have a contract release clause should the club go down.
