The Guardian reports that Djalo will join Villa on a free transfer in the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old is currently without a club after having been released by Nice and Villa are keen to take advantage of the situation in January.
Djalo is close friends with Manchester United winger Nani and is keen on a move to the Premier League.
