The Italian told fulhamfc.com: “I am enjoying myself except of course for missing matches on the pitch due to the mistake I made. I feel good here in the same way I felt good in Rome which is fortunate.
“I know Fulham very well and am familiar with the dimensions of the Club. I am here because I wanted a new experience in England. Fulham liked me and I liked Fulham and there has been nothing that has really thrown any surprises at me that I wasn’t expecting, so I am really happy.
“You don’t know what the future holds. I have a contract with Roma, I have always felt loved there and I left to join Fulham on loan on good terms.
“I’m really happy as the fans started singing my name even before I scored goals which shows that they believed in me. To be appreciated in a new country in such a short space of time is a good reason for me to be satisfied. I am disappointed I am missing games but this makes me even more determined to do well when I return.”
