Everton boss rules out England job

Moyes has been touted as a potential successor to Fabio Capello as England manager after Euro 2012.

“I don’t know if England could ever accept a Scotsman running their team,” says Moyes.

“And at the moment, I’m probably more interested in club management than international management.

“Harry Redknapp looks a great choice as England manager. A great man-manager, he plays entertaining football and, I get the feeling from a distance, that the players like his style.

“So I would say Harry, Roy Hodgson and big Sam Allardyce will be in there.”

He added: “Maybe England will look for someone whose influence filters all the way through, someone who is out watching all the youth team games – the Under-21s and Under-18s – someone who has an impact on the whole of English football, rather than simply managing the senior team.”
