Lehmann blasted Hunt earlier this season, after the Reading winger’s collision with Petr Cech.
Hunt told The Sun: “I didn’t need him piping up after the Chelsea game. It had nothing to do with him.
“Not many people like him. He’s an angry man – he’d have a fight with his own shadow.”
Lehmann and Hunt will face each other against when Republic of Ireland take on Germany in Dublin in October.
Hunt added: “I’ll have even more support next time because there will be 80,000 Irish fans.”
