The Daily Mail reports that QPR boss Neil Warnock is ready to make a £7million bid for McGregor in January.
Warnock will offer Rangers £5million in cash plus a Loftus Road fringe player of Rangers’ choosing for McGregor.
McGregor signed a new five-year contract with Rangers last year and manager Ally McCoist is keen to keep him at the club.
