Ferguson said: “We will have to wait to see the extent of Ferdinand’s injury but Ryan will be okay, it was just sickness.
“Heinze is training well and I think he has an outside chance for Sunday. He’s in full training now in terms of rehabilitation and running.
“We have also wanted to give Gary Neville a full week’s training before the Liverpool match.”
