The Sunday Mirror reports that the La Liga side have enquired about Heitinga.
The Dutch defender’s current contract with Everton is set to expire in the summer of 2014.
Heitinga spent two seasons at Atletico Madrid before joining Everton in a £6million deal in 2009.
