Ajax failed with a bid for the 21-year-old last month, according to the winger’s agent Mino Raiola.
De Boer told Voetbal Primeur: “He was already on our list, originally for this summer.
“But with so many personnel problems, we found that we had to take action now. And we’re still very interested in him.”
“Every young player wants to go to a (big) club,” Narsingh said. “(Last month) it was too short notice. Hopefully in the summer I’ll get one more chance.”
