Redknapp, the favourite to take over after Fabio Capello’s recent resignation, would not do both jobs long term though.
“In the short term it’s possible for the European Championship”, Redknapp told Abu Dhabi Sports.
“But in the long term it’s not possible to manage a club and a national team.”
