He said: “I’m very happy, but I am also very tired. You notice it a lot after three months without playing. For me it has been a dream, because all my family was here for the game.
“The differences with Brazilian soccer are many but I am very happy because the team needed to win to lift some of the anxiety that was hanging over us.
“I had a good understanding on the field with my teammates. The coach, when the game finished, congratulated me and that has given me confidence because it was not my best performance.”
