But the 22-year-old insists that no deadline has been set regarding a new deal.
Kagawa has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and AC Milan in recent months.
“Of course we are in constant contact, but that is all up to my advisers,” Kagawa said.
“We have set no deadline, but we are in talks and I hope that the club has something nice in the mix.”
