Reports claim Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi watched Corgne in action for Dijon against Paris St Germain on Sunday.
Corgne made an impressive performance for a Dijon side that eventually lost 2-1 against table topping PSG.
Grimandi has watched Corgne in action three times this season.
Newcastle are also keen on signing Corgne and had a £3million bid for the midfielder rejected in January.
