The 26-year-old has long been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.
Chelsea made a £40million bid for Modric last summer, but it was rejected by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
Levy is keen for Modric to sign a new six years deal worth around £140,000-a-week.
But the Sunday Mirror insists Modric will not sign a new deal before he knows the future of current boss Harry Redknapp.
