The new deal will keep the Brazilian striker at Lille until the summer of 2014.
“LOSC is pleased to have reached an agreement with Tulio De Melo and to have his presence in the side next season,” a statement on the club’s official website read.
De Melo has scored 12 goals in 57 Ligue 1 appearances for Lille.
