Inter endured a miserable season whilst Forlan has been blighted by injury.
The Uruguayan told Radio Tiempo Nuevo: “This has been an unlucky season.
“First I suffered two injuries and then I had to play in a new position. It has been strange to get used to new surroundings, but there is nothing strange about that.
“At Inter I am happy and I know president [Massimo] Moratti believes in me. It is not my intention to leave, unless the club want to sell me, but no one has said anything about that, so I haven’t thought about a transfer.”
