The Daily Mail reports that the Reds are considering making a bid for the youngster after former Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers took over as manager at Anfield.
The 22-year-old could cost Liverpool in excess of £10million to sign.
Liverpool are also keen to hijack Swansea’s £6.8million move for Hoffenheim midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Sigurdsson impressed for Swansea under former boss Rodgers this season.
