The new deal will keep the 37-year-old at Vasco da Gama until the end of 2012.
“I was lucky enough to return to a club that is growing, that is trying to win things again,” Juninho told reporters.
“I feel at home here. I have grown at this club, and we hope to win the Brasileirao. We have many matches coming up, so we need to be patient.”
