The Mirror reports that Fulham boss Martin Jol is keen to sign Bentley on loan or for a low fee.
Bentley failed to impress under former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and has long been linked with a move away from the club.
The 27-year-old suffered a knee injury while on loan at West Ham last season.
