Redknapp was successful in keeping Modric at the club last summer.
Modric has recently been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid and he is expected to leave White Hart Lane this summer.
“It would be a huge loss. He is irreplaceable,” Modric told The Sun.
“But if they get massive money, they can go and get three or four players and improve the team in other areas.”
