New Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas and Sturridge worked together while the Portuguese manager was in charge at Chelsea.
The Sunday Mail reports that Villas-Boas is now keen to link up with the striker at White Hart Lane.
Spurs are reportedly ready to make a bid of £5million for the striker, but Chelsea are looking for a higher fee.
