The Parisians are on the verge of signing the centre back along with AC Milan team mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic despite the Brazilian only recently signing a long term contract at the San Siro.
“He renewed his contract because he felt valued and because Milan requested that,” Paulo Tonietto told Globo Esporte. “But that won’t prevent any negotiation.
“You can write it – PSG will be the biggest team in Europe in two or three years, even if they don’t sign Thiago Silva and Ibra.
“I know the structure and the people that work there. They have great potential.”
