He told Arsenal.com: “I think no team in the world has young players with this quality and I think we have improved this year. If you look at the numbers, for example in the games we’ve won away from home, there is a big improvement on last season.
“Next season I feel we will definitely be genuine title contenders. I think we have a great squad, we all know each other really well, we have a lot of quality, we have the desire, we are all winners.
“What is missing right now is the goals. In the Champions League we did not take our chances and a lot of our games this year have been 0-0, or we lose 1-0, or we draw 1-1, just because we haven’t taken our opportunities.
“Teams likes Chelsea don’t get as many opportunities but they score and that’s what makes the difference.”
