Barcelona eventually bounced back from the 2-0 Champions League first leg loss, beating Sevilla 2-1 thanks to Messi’s winner after their opponents had taken the lead.
“It was hard not to think of Milan,” Messi said after the Sevilla game. “We know we did not have our best game at San Siro.
“But we will use it going forward. Against Madrid we will have to give our best against an incredible opponent.”
