Chelsea are facing the prospect of finishing the campaign trophyless and outside the top four, although they could still win the FA Cup and Europa League.
“We had a turning point two weeks ago [against West Ham] and then, after one game, it seemed everything had changed,” said Benítez.
“But it’s the same. The race for the top four will go until the end of the season. We’re in the top four with a game in hand [on Tottenham Hotspur]. We’re in the semi-finals of the FA Cup and the quarter-finals of the Europa League. It’s a great season. It could be even better.”
