“I have told the journalists that they can write what they want, but I will stay,” he said. “That might not be the best news for some of the players but it is the truth so it’s no problem.
“The better you get the more the other teams want your players; you cannot be successful and have nobody recognise it. Every year we lost one brilliant player and we get better and better and better.”
