Blanc’s new club have been heavily linked with both players and at a press conference on Wednesday he fuelled rumours linking the club with the duo.
“He’s a player I love, as do a lot of other people. I saw him play many times for Napoli and for Uruguay and, if it’s possible to add him to the squad, I’d be very happy.”
“He offers a lot of options in different positions,” he added of Cabaye, whom he worked with as France coach. “He’s an interesting player.”
