Former Man Utd winger hints at Newcastle exit

Obertan has made just one appearance for the Magpies this season and is keeping his options open.

“Everything is possible. I will see what’s going on until December, and I’ll see what’s best for me and the club,” Obertan told the Shields Gazette.

“I can’t obviously keep on being on the bench and not being involved. I’ll see what’s best for the club and me.

“I’m feeling good physically and mentally at the moment.

“I’m quite confident. It’s not easy to be on the bench and not come on, but it’s part and parcel of the job.

“I just have to keep waiting and working hard.

“It’s a test, mentally. You must keep on focusing on an opportunity, because you never know when it will come. I’ll be ready for it.”
