Tavano is on loan from Valencia and has impressed in Italy this season.
He said: “I had a tough time at the start of the season, but I kept my head down and worked hard in training. Now things are going better and I hope to stay with Roma.
“It’s the dream of every player to play in Rome. We’re a great squad, a great team and I hope to be part of it next season.”
