Brighton are closing in on a move for German centre-back prospect Noel Atom.
The 18-year-old is available as a free agent after leaving Bundesliga side RB Leipzig earlier this summer.
Atom can also operate as an left-back and Brighton are keen to complete the signing within the coming week.
Atom is expected to initially be joining the Brighton Under 21 squad and is regarded as ‘one for the future’.
